Thankful

  I was playing around with my new camera this morning after putting the turkey in the oven, and this is what I came out with. Just wanted to share with you all. I hope each and every one of you have a family and friend filled Thanksgiving. This is what I am thankful for. My family and friends,  that includes all my new blogger friends. Lola What a Party! pt. 2

Ok my sweeties, here are the party pictures from Lola Enchanted at Mary's house on Saturday night. We walked in to her house where we were greeted with Mary big smile and a hug. She is the sweetest. There is a beautiful place setting on her kitchen table with this huge snowman, and of course, Lola has to have Martini's! I had about 4, maybe 5. They were yummy! The party was perfect and so much fun. I can't wait to do it again. Peep these pics.... 

  Lola has to have red Velvet cake! It  was yummy. red Velvet cake is one of my favorites-hell, any cake is my favortie!

This was my piece! Diet? What diet? there is no diet when red velvet is in the room!

Here is the room where we had our dinner and listened to Eddie Wakes croon and swoon us with his delightful voice. You have to Google him and listen to his voice- love it! The room was decorated so beautifully. It was perfect.

Lola Knows How to Party! pt 1

Well Girlies, I'm back from LA and all I can say is wow!!!!!!! Mary's Lola Enchanted Party was so cool and fun! That Mary she really knows how to put together a party! I had such a blast teaching my class at her new store. It is a fun place and I hope I get to go back soon.You can't help but get inspired when you are there. If you are not sure what I am talling about, if you are just finding my blog today. Mary was a super host and was worn out and exhausted after all was said and done, but she is a super girl and pulled it off. Thank you thank you Mary for having me. YOu are a gypsy soul like me and I'm greatful we have been able to become friends. Hugs & Kisses xoxo.  Now, I know you all wanna see pics so here you go!!

Here is the front of the shop, and it is funky and junky, just as I expected. SO cool!  SOme of the finished pieces from the mornings classes. These turned out so cool.

Alice's Lola Gloves. These were framed masterpieces. SO elegant looking. Lola herself!

  Inside the shop, Robert's class was going on when I arrived. It was perfect, I got to snoop around and shop! robert, it was so nice to get to meet you. Your projects are amazing!

I LOVED these vintage asian calendars on the wall. So dang cool.

Here was part of my class. everybody was working so well on their beeswax canvases. Each one put their own little touch on their canvas.

SOme finished pieces. I loved how ALice put red Stickles glitter glue around the little girl image. It really made it pop off the canvas.  One more view of the shop. This was such a fun experience. I really hope I get to do it again. Or maybe I can get Miss Mary to Arizona??!! call me Girl! More pics tomorrow! The party-you gotta see these!

Chrisys Cottage

  As some of you know, that know me I have several jobs and one of them takes me to a couple of towns around Arizona. So this Thursday I went to Show Low and then came back thru Payson. In Payson is this sweet and so shabby chic shop called Chrisy's Cottage. It is filled with creams,pinks, and everything shabby chic. The owner has been a shop owner for a quite a while now and she is offering 20% off the entire shop now thru theend of December. Great deal! I took a few picks for you to drool over. If you go there it is past the WalMart, in the Swiss Village SHops. 

JOy, I took this picture for you. This bunny was already sold. It is very old, and she dressed it up with some vintage jewels.

  I loved this little vignette!

    She has lots of vintage clothes and vintage inspired clothes. (NOtice the pink Playboy bunny stocking?? Different?, but funny)

Even her dressing room was pretty! I bought a dress from her to wear to the Lola party tonight with Mary!   This is her vignette when you pull in the parking lot.... Well, I'm off to Blissful Living to teach a class and then to LA for LOLA! More pics to come.

  ANother beeswax sign I made. Pretty antique golds and browns.

 

 

  This is a really cool LARGE metal ornament that I have several of for sale. They are so cool to dress up with glittery garlands and acrylic drops for more sparkle. They are about 18" tall. Way cool. Email me if you are interested in them.

I  should have bought these- they were only $12! What a bargain. I snoozed and loozed :)

Third Thursdays in Phoenix in the Melrose area. 7th Ave & Indian School Rd. Rust & Roses, Hollywood Regency, Melrose Vintage, and more are open for late shopping and special sales. La Maison Rustique chapter 1

Well, I'm back and my head is still swirling. Putting things away and focusing towards Lola! I'm not even unpacking certain things. The barn sale was wonderful as expected. It is always a treat to be able to go. Linda, Sherry and all the people she has helping her are so nice. I wish I could be there for every sale. And some of the people that come to visit and shop are even more fabulous(if that could even be?). Jennifer-thank you again. I love my candle you gave me-so artistic. So many thank you's to pass out. All of you who came by to visit-thank you. Here are some long awaited pics... to drool over....

Lola? Me? OKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!

On my goodness!!!!!! I am super excited! not only do I get to go to La Maison Rustique this weekend, but now next weekend............................................

I get to teach my beeswax class with Miss Mary and guests in LA. Woohoo!!

As soon as my class at Blissful Living Studio is over I'm off t o the airport and then I'll be teaching in the afternoon. Whew! What a day! it will be a crazy day, but I am so looking forward to it. I love to travel and this is just awesome. I'm off to Temecula! Have a great weekend! I'll be back with lots of yummy pictures!
