Heading out to San Diego and Solana Beach this weekend for a class at Paper Tales, and then off to Rita's for a day of fun, then on to Mermaid Mercantile!!! Non stop action and fun on this trip! Lots of pics for the magazine, and here! I can't wait to hang out and play with all my Cali gals! Here is my class sample for PaperTales: Then, you can come by Mermaid Mercantile for this fun class/make n take on Sunday:
Next, I have to share with you some pics of another furniture project I worked on this week:
so stinkin' cool! Chalkboard table! yes, that's chalkboard paint on the top! I have been wanting to make one of these tables for a long time. I finally found the right table to do it. It is for sale at secret location to be disclosed next week when I get back! This table is so amazing, I really want to keep it. I have been refinishing furniture for a number of years, but over the last year didn't do too many pieces because I just didn't have the room to sell them. But not any more!!!!!! hint hint
One more project to share..... I made this large canvas 16x20 for the Mermaid Mercantile this Sunday. This idea started out from a client a few months back, and I just had to make some more. SHe wanted one of my silhouette collages but on a larger simpler scale. So we came up with something like this. Not exactly the same as hers, because I want her commissioned piece to feel as one of a kind as possible. I love the whimsy of the pom pom trim. I really love mixing the fabric trims and paper.
Blissfully Yours, Tricia
PS!!!!! This Sunday is the last day to enter for the GIVEAWAY on my magazine blog!!! Hurry!!!!
