Yesterday morning I set off for a quick 24hour turnaround trip to Art & Soul held at the Green Valley Resort in Henderson,NV just outside Vegas. This was how my drive looked almost the entire way to Vegas. Absolutely gorgeous! Big puffy white clouds and lots of snow covered desert. Now, I know that you all back east are cringing at these photos but here in AZ, to see the white powdery stuff on cacti is a pretty cool site. And to see this much on the ground was just cool. The funniest part is after the clouds went away late in the monring the sun came out and this morning on my way back all this snow was GONE! Not a peep! Glad I took a few pics while it was there! It made the drive so much better to look at it all.
I have these new handmade jewelry mannequin/torsos my friend Karen L. made last week. She made them to sell at Briar Patch and Art Unraveled but I can't wait! I said let me take these and try to sell them for you!! They are wayyyyyyyy cool. Tea stained muslin and she sews all of it together. She is genius!
And these are from my friend Lesley Venable from Flatwoods Folk Art. She has amazing antique and vintage supply type items as well. We just trade from each other, we love each other's stuff so much.
I snapped this picture just as people were coming in the room, and then the madness began!! I barely got to look up and say Hi to few friends and it was back to selling! I got to see my Jackie B and my Anna(the wild redhead who I can't keep up with!) Thank you to all of you who stopped by my vintage mess!! It was great to meet you all, even if it was briefly!
Blissfully Yours, Tricia
