Well, here is where you will find me! Hee, hee, I had to get you going a little bit this Saturday morning!

 
I'll be at Scrapbook Barn in Gilbert this coming Saturday May 7th from 11-4. I'll be hosting a Beeswax Tag Collage Make n Take for National Scrapbook Day. You don't need to bring anything. You'll make 2 tags for $5. I'll have vintage supplies as well as some of the newest papers on the block right now! This Make n Take is a quick introduction to beeswax and collaging techniques. I've heard from the gals at SB that there will also be some great discounts for the day as well! Hope to see you!

 
Next up is the Merchant Square Flea Market on May 14th from 7am-1pm. Yes, this will be the last one until  October! It's too dang hot already! I'll have lots of goods that I have been collecting, and some purging from my studio! I'll have a mish-mash of everything with me. This is a great flea market in the East Valley. I ALWAYS find amazing stuff here! Located in the parking lot of Merchant Square on Arizona Ave, inbetween Warner and Ray. Believe me, you'll see all the cars! Bring your sunscreen!

 
And lastly, my favorite place to be! Urban Barn!  May 20th & 21st is the Street Faire that is held once a month in Escondido,CA. The funnest vendors and people you'll meet. Just read the comments on their blog and see for yourself! I'll have great finds and my great stash of vintage supplies for your art making! And yes, my Tattered Bliss line of altered vintage slips. I've had tons of creative spurts lately, I can't wait for you to see it all!

 
Lastly, in June on the 3rd & 4th I'll be back at the show of Christie Repasy & Rita Reade! Formerly called Chateau De Fleurs, now in a NEW location(bigger) and called The Vintage Marketplace. So excited for this show!! More vendors and gorgeous location! I'll have the Bliss Lounge with me too! If you are in the SO. California area for vacations, send the kids to the beach with Dad and get to this show! Some of the most talented people in the So. Cal area! Yippee!!! I'll see you there!!

So, that's my calendar of events where you can find me. I've been working behind the scenes for the last few weeks on customer orders, the Paris Montana store, and just getting some REST! But you know I can't sit still for long, I'm a gypsy! And gypsies must roam!! See ya soon!

Zinnia's Update

 
Just thought I would share a few pics of my space at Zinnia's . It's been awhile since I have updated with some pics here on the blog. It has been super busy at Zinnia's. Stuff is not sticking around very long! I love going there to bring stuff to my booth because I always get to shop around and end up bringing almost as much home with me as I drop off! Good for Zinnia's, bad for me!

 
 
 
Picked up this wayyyyy cool vintage metal cabinet a few weeks back. Love it! I think it would be great in a craft room or any industrial looking room.

 
One of my new vintage Army upcycled canvas bags. These are perfect for toting around at a flea market! Inside there are about 6 pockets for holding all your goods! And pretty much indestructible!

 
I also picked up in Texas these hilariously funny canvases. They have been selling great, and give you a laugh right when you need a pick me up! Perfect  for giving to a friend! So, get your botty's in there and see what new things everyone has brought in before I buy it all!! hee hee!

Haute Handbags

 
A couple of weeks ago I received my copy of Haute Handbags from Stampington & Co. So excited to see my Flea Market Tote inside! Miss Beth Livesay scooped up the bag last year when she came to an event I was at(Mermaid Mercantile) and took it with her for submission. There was a whole story about the event and a "Junque Memory Book" that went with it, but they just choose to accept the bag for Haute Handbags, works for me! Love it! Thank you so much Beth and Stampington for publishing it.

 
The tote bag was a project we made for the Gypsy Boheme Flea Market Weekend Mary and I had put together back in '09. We had a ton of fun and the ladies did too. Creating, shopping, dancing, and laughing! I have to give a big thank you to Kay Ellen and her mom for supplying the Sealah No Sew tape. That was the basis for the project-a no sew flea market tote. I absolutely LOVE Sealah tape, it is a crafters FRIEND! Try it, get some! You'll love it too!

 
Here is a close up of the logo for the weekend. I did sew some buttons on it after I got it home from the weekend. This issue of Haute Handbags is great, it also has my new friend Sicilian Gypsy in it, who is also now in Urban Barn! Yippee!!

Vintage Begonia

 
Last week on my way out to Urban Barn I stopped at one of my all time favorite little California towns-Old Town Temecula. I adore this little town, I am such a tourist, I know. I love being a professional tourist! Old Town Temecula has all these sweet old buildings and new filled with antique shops,boutiques and restaurants. So quaint amd fun! Summertime is the best time to go here because they have summer cruisin' nights and way cool hot rod-vintage cars come out and cruise. Love it!

 
Pictured here are Jackie and her daughter. They are so nice and sweet. They feature vintage and handmade items from all of your favorite local artists. Their shop is located in a great building with a couple of other great shops.

 
I stopped by quickly last thursday to take some pics for the next issue of Blissfully Traveled . This next issue is going to be PACKED with tons of pics from all over! I can't wait to get in done. Coming soon!

Urban Barn Bliss

 
 
This past weekend I had the honor of celebrating the One Year Anniversary of Urban Barn in Escondido. It was awesome and a ton of fun! I'm completely exhausted and still trying to get myself together. Here are some pics in no particular order, just random beauty and fun!

 
 
The lady with the biggest heart-my Linda. Thank you so much for everything. :)  I'm mad at myself though for not getting a picture of both Linda's. They were so busy all weekend, I don't think I could've gotten a picture of them to stop for a minute. But busy is a good thing!

My adorable Redneck friend-Robelyn. She is the sweetest and most generous person. Adore her accent too! She uses duct tape on her business cards and tags-so dang original, love it!

 
It was a blast being next to Shelly and Minnie, they sold out of all their handmade pillows. You can see why, they are so cool!

Bliss and the Barn

and this is the Barn. This coming weekend will be the Urban Barn's One Year Anniversary Celebration. SOOOOO excited to go and bring the Bliss Lounge with me for the first time here. I can't wait to see how you all like it!!  There are big plans for the One Year Celebration and lots of preparation going on over there. It 's always an amazing party when Linda gets her ideas going!! I've got lots of goodies I picked up in Texas that I will be bringing with me. I hope to see you there!!

You know I love my vintage, so I decided while in Texas last week to add a vintage greeting card collage to the side of the closet in the trailer. I photocopied a huge collection I have of the cutest cards and then glued the afternoon away! Mom and Sis were there to supervise and cut as well. Yippee!! Love it, its so damn cute!!! You're gonna love it!
