Last week I went to a salvage yard and came across this lovely piece of metal. It is an awning frame. I've always loved looking at the awnings you see sometimes over the windows of cute little houses. They are usually covered with sweet black and white striped fabric, and I've seen some with yellow and white too. Super cute. So, I was thinking it would be really cool to have this hanging on a wall Inside a home. It gives some whimzy and makes a fabulous focal point in a room. How fun to have this hanging on the wall behind your sofa??!!
Gorgeous sweet French script fabric and some fun chocolate brown fringe. I love this piece, I think it is so fun to put in a home. I'll be bringing it to the Vintage Marketplace next weekend. More peeks and transformations to come! See you there!
