Ok, so I'm finally back from a LONG trip but it was a-mazing and a once in a lifetime kind of event. This was the "big news" I was eluding to a few posts back. I didn't want to announce it until it happened, didn't want to jinx it, ya know?? So, I started creating this jewelry with Bobby Boyd Designs a few weeks back, right after I got back from Texas, and it has taken off! Bobby was invited to this event Music Row Live to showcase his creations and decorate the Premier Party for Charla McCoy. He asked me to come along and be a part of the event, and our jewelry creations were given out to all the country stars that came through the event to do their radio interviews for the CMA's(COuntry Music Awards). It was an honor and so cool to be a part of this. I have never been involved in anything like this before, let alone meet famous country music stars. It's pretty overwhelming. But enough with the talking, you know I hate to write, and love to show pics. I tried to take all that I could, but some people I couldn't take pics of (but you know me-I'll get ya!)
This was our set up, we had one table down a hallway in this recording studio called the Tracking Room on Music Row.
This is the band Taylor Made-they sang at the Premier Party, and the lead singer took one of my rhinestone bracelets and wore it on stage while she sang, that was WAY cool!
This is Bobby and Jayson with Tracy Lawrence, Bobby presented him with a custom guitar for his song 'Time Marches On". He was pretty excited to receive it. I added some vintage watch faces to the guitar to go along with the song title. It gave it a cool mixed media effect.
Myself and Bobby with one of the members of Alabama. (I'm horrible with names, honestly I was trying to write them all down, but it was kinda crazy!)
I ambushed the Pendleton Whisky girls to model our jewelry, a couple of cuties! They were so awesome, they were selling it right off their necks! I think we'll take them everywhere! They are wearing the heart necklaces we donated as giveaways, and then the guitars were for sale.
This was a band called The Farm- you must look them up! They were awesome! I really lked their music- you will be hearing more from them!
And what would a Nashville party be without a mechanical bull?! This one was special-only one of two in the US. It goes up and down this line as well as bucking you at the same time! Thank GOD! I wore a dress! Bobby and Jayson would have had my *ss up there in a minute! Yikes!
Myself with Aaron Tippin and Bobby...he picked out one of Bobby's tin plaques to give to his daughter.
Neil McCoy picked out one of our Peace necklaces to take home. He was so funny, I laughed more with him than anyone. Super cool ,guy. He just sang at Miranda and Blake's wedding, super cool!
In this picture towards the back is Faith Hill, they rushed her by and all these people were standing in front of our booth, I couldn't get a picture. So, I just put the camera in the air and took what I could...
I told you I get ya in a pic...here she is doing a radio interview with a station from Denver.
and that's her in the back too. I was trying not to be too big of a stalker! LOL
Myself with The Farm. ( you know if I'm not taking the pics, they don't come out right-gotta work on that boys..) We were in kind of a dark hallway.
Rodney Atkins stopped by-you know him "Backroads" song "put a little gravel in your travel"...
These lovlies are LucyAngel from Arizona! yes, hometown girls! I immediately had them pick out some jewelry and they were so happy to wear it. They wore during their lunchtime performance. These girls are fashionistas, and super nice! You gotta look them up! Can you guess which one is the Mama?! yea, there's a Mama in there!
They sang while we had our much at the Tracking Room. They were awesome and funny! They are also working on a reality show, cool!
Of course we had to take picture in front of their awesome limo! They need to come by Paris Montana and see what we have for them! They were dressed just like they came out of the store! Love it!
ANd that's Ronnie Dunn, again another artist they whisked by us, bummer! But he's looking at me taking a pic of him, not sure if I was supposed to do that??!!
This is sweet Laura Bell Bundy, she picked out one of our guitar necklaces to wear. The cool thing was that all the artists that came by and picked out jewelry wanted to wear it right then and there. So cool!
This is cutie patootie Justin Moore. He has the song out right now called "He can't even bait a hook" He was loving Bobby's guitars.
I believe these girls are called Stealing Angels, gotta look them up. My notes got a but mixed up. They loved the jewelry they got to pick out too, and put it on right away. Don't they look cute?
Bobby with Steve Holy, he was a cool guy and wants a custom guitar too.
Jayson and Bobby with Montgomery Gentry, they were kick ass. Kinda rowdy too, but super cool guys. Of course, I take the pics so I don't get in all of them. Oh well, I probably would have pinched Troy's butt and then got kicked out! Lol
Me with cutie Jarrod Nieman, he was very nice and loved his necklace.
We also got to be interviewed by a radio station in Akron, they are going to feature our website next week on their radio show.
Myself with up and coming Hailey Hicks. She LOVED all of our stuff, and wants more to wear on stage. Yippee!
This is another reason we were here, Bobby and Jayson made Brantley Gilbert a custom guitar for his song "Country Must Be Country Wide". It is probably my favorite one that Bobby has made so far. Brantley loved it.
I got to have my picture taken with super cutie Brantley too. I really wanted to pinch his sweet little bubble butt, too. But again, I had to be on my best behavior, it's so hard being good!
ANd that's Martina McBride signing guitars for St. Jude's charity. Again, they pushed her by quickly, so this is all I got. Sorry.
On the last day of the 3 day event, we got the priveldge of getting to sit in on the group radio interview of Rascal Flatts. They were really nice and super funny! Had the whole room rolling! They were pressed for time and could only do a group interview so no giving them any Bobby Boyd Designs either. Oh well. Next time, right?
This is at the end of the event, myself with Charla, Bobby and Jayson(one day we'll get him to smile!) This would not have been possible without Charla meeting Bobby and loving his creations and personality. She is very generous and kind. Can't thank her enough for having us. More to come on the other shows I did while gone, but this one had to be first, it was truly a dream. Thank you.
Blissfully Yours, Tricia
