This past weekend was the very FIRST Big Heap here in AZ. Lori and Mickey of Thieves Market in Cave Creek are the organizers and they were amazing! They really thought of everything-everything for customers and vendors. Which is truly amazing, because sometimes as a vendor a promoter takes your money for your booth, and then sometimes forgets that they have to make the vendor happy as well as the shopper. These two ladies found a perfect balance. My hat goes off to them-bravo! They had helpers for unloading and if you were in your booth alone-the helpers would watch your booth if you had to go use the facilities, how thoughtful is that??!! This was the entrance to the event-kinda sums it all up--a big heap of everything! Handmade and vintage treasures!
This vendor is Vagabond Exchange-love their name-a husband and wife team that has a great eye for all things rusty and crusty, my fav!
This robot belongs to an artist that was at the show, I'm sorry I didn't grab his card, but he's on the website. He makes super awesome lifesize robots and salvage structures. Truly amazing work. This robot was about 10ft tall! I know Lisa is loving this~ LOL
This is a vendor by the name of Deb-Junk Fairy Gypsy. She used to live in Cave Creek, now she's a Texan. Deb has a fun and whimsical way of embellishing her booth. You know how I love creepy baby dolls, so for me to be across from her for days was great!
Her booth, so fun..babydolls everywhere!
even bedsprings full of babies in the ceiling of her tent
some of her creations.....she also has lots of salvage treasures too. I was loving the old car doors
my little set up, funky, junky, and bit sparkly!
One of my etched brass cuffs...
This is a new resin piece I've been working on, love anything with a heart!
I can never get tired of velvet pumpkins...
Some BBD jewelry I had at the show, each night I had to come home and make more it was selling like crazy!
mini pink trees for you and me...
Sweet friend Dawn stopped by and is always a ray of sunshine. She's always smiling and happy and dressed to the nines!
My travel partner in crime Paris Montana and her traveling blacktop boudoir of jewels!
I loved this outfit she put together-a bit bad ass, who doesn't need a gun holster belt?
they even had belly dancers! this little girl was so cute, she tried to do every move they did, super cute!
J Licious Tacos-I can't say enough about these crazy girls! They make the most yummy-licious pork tacos and dove tamales. Oh, sugar- I ate their food all 3 days I was there. They have won awards for their tacos, if you are at an event here in PHX and they are there-eat their FOOD! So good!
a view in the morning of some of the booths, the weather was absolutely perfect, you could wish for better weather.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out, this was the best show I've had in Phoenix to date. I can't wait to see what Mickey and Lori come up with next, cause you know we are doing this again! So many people, so awesome! Thank you to Mickey and Lori, you girls are the coolest!
Blissfully Yours, with a full heart... Tricia
