I picked these heart baking tins from Urban Restoration here in Phx at their first Market a few weeks ago. I knew I wanted to alter them for the upcoming Vintage Marketplace this week. I used Bobby's tin cross and heart for the focal point.
I added some scripted background paper, then the tin cross. Adhered some vintage Anagram letters and some seam binding I dyed. I love mixing the different textures together.
love the way this one came out, too
Hope you like, I'll see you all this coming friday at The Vintage Marketplace in Fallbrook,CA!

About 9 months ago when I was in Springerville,AZ for a friends wedding, I was driving around town looking for garage sales and the pretty houses. I drove past this one, super cute, an Airstream in the side yard, an out building that looks like a small barn, and gorgeous greenery. It was just cozy to look at. I loved it.
Fast forward to two days ago, Heidi and I drive up to Springerville to meet with our new friend Thalia who owns the little shop up there that I swooned over last August. We meet her at her shop Bluebird Vintage, and she has us follow her 3 doors down to this house!!! My jaw dropped, small world, right??? She owns this little piece of heaven. And I was going to be staying the night in it! It's seriously like a doll house.
love the pink door with the fork as a handle...
bits of rusty, crusty-ness everywhere...
this pretty arrangement greets you at the door...
who doesn't need a pink painted antler head on their porch??
and a barn with a white picket fence, love.................
this is the living room, its' the coziest place on the planet, love the Italian wedding blanket, I want one soooo bad!!!
everything Thalia owns in here is vintage, floral, and just plain pretty...
and a bit gypsy, too....
and this is her vintage glorious kitchen, it's like an ice cream shop kitchen, the checkered floor, pink/white table, and vintage trinkets everywhere! Love it all!!!
these chairs at her kitchen table, have the carvings Peace and Love on them, I've never seen anything like them, they are too adorable!
it's hard to see in this photo, but the tile is a pale pink, can you tell I'm going crazy with all this cuteness!!
and yes.....a pink stove too....so cute!
this is a parlor room with the cozy little fireplace, and Thalia there on the phone..
it's filled with pretty linens, floral wallpaper, and so many pretty pillows.
and yes, more pink antlers, lol
chippy peely cabinets are everywhere as well...
Thalia has a love of old barkcloth, like me too..... oh, and a chippy peely shutter as well
Meet Bisou, her cutie little doggy that likes to runaway....her bedroom is absolutely dreamy
love this piece too...
old pretty dressers are all around her room
Thalia and her horse, and she has a donkey, a goat, her daughter has a turtle, and a rabbit, she just needs chickens now, lol
And this is crazy Thalia, who owns this amazing little house, she is a true gypsy spirit. ANd if you love her style, you can find it at Merchant Square Antique Mall in Chandler, you'll know which booth is hers when you walk around. Thanks Thalia for letting me dream in your home for a day. :)

I'm back from Paso Robles and finally unpacked! It was a long couple of days, but soo soooooo much fun. The ladies that put on this show are are truly awesome and so caring. I can't wait to come back to this show next year, I won't be there in the Fall because it is the same time as Texas Antiques week. The photo above is of my tent and treasures brought. If you get the chance to make it to this show, GO! Great vendors and a cute little town.
