It's here!! They're Back!!! Yippee!!! And another Yippee!! The first episode of Season 2 starts tomorrow on GAC-Great American Country. They've got the whole family involved even more this time. Even Gypsy Daddy's biscuits, which I've bought some and cooked, soooo yummy!! More junk, more projects, and more surprises!
As part of their promo campaign I received a super cool box from Junk Gypsies and GAC full of goodies from both companies! I feel sooooo lucky! It was this great box that looks like a vintage case.
So when you open the box, there is this...... a preview of the first episode!!! The whole episode!!! EEKKK!! Of course, I popped it in and watched IMMEDIATELY!! It is all about the opening of their store which I got to go to while in Roundtop this past Spring.
I took this photo of the County Judge officiating the Grand Opening.
I loved the over sized scissors they made for ribbon cutting. I had never been to a store opening like this before, so it was really cool to see. You will see lots of this in the first episode and all the things they made for the store displays. Some great ideas for you!
I had to share this sweet photo of Cash Baker, Jolie's son. He was patiently waiting for the ribon cutting part. He is such a cute boy, just all boy and sweet.
This photo was from the first season when they did a preview in front of their tent at Zapp Hall. I'm with Amie and Bobby in this photo. They had a huge blow up screen and popcorn for everyone. It's been so cool to be at both premiere's and seen it all happen. In the first season they did some filming in my booth of them buying something from me, but it only aired for a split second in a promo. It was still super fun!
It was like a junk in drive in movie! These girls always think out of the box, and that is why you will love this show!!
This was from Junk Gypsy Prom Fall 2013. We had a good laugh, and it's always fun to play dress up for this event. The outfits that people come up with are the best!
So as I was watching the preview DVD of the first episode I took a few pics to give you a little tease and get you ready for tomorrow's premiere!
In this part, Philip, aka Gypsy Dad is showing Jolie the recipe for his world famous biscuits. Which you can buy too!
Amie explaining the design concept for a project for the store opening.
I'm so proud of these two, and happy to call them my friends. We are junkin' kindred spirits. I can't wait to see the rest of the season and what they have planned next! Sooooo, with all this said and now you are salivating and at the edge of your seat....I'm going to have a GIVEAWAY!!!!! I thought it would be fitting to share the Junk Gypsy love!!!! Leave a comment here on the blog, or share this post, tell me why you like or love Junk Gypsies, or maybe your favorite purchase from them to be entered into the giveaway.
The Giveaway prize is a Junk Gypsy Bumper Sticker, GAC hat, and a Junk Gypsy keychain too! I'll be picking the random winning Friday evening June 13th. So, leave me a comment on your favorite Junk Gypsy purchase, or just why you like/love them! Yippee!!!! Tune in tomorrow night June 12th to GAC!!
I have a few photos to share from this past months Junk In the Trunk Vintage Market. It is such an amazing show. These girls and their helpers put together a show that is so smooth and fun. It's one day of fast and furious shopping. Gorgeous displays and great vintage goods. The photo above is from their website, credit goes to Danielle Apple Photography. Really love this photo from my booth.
Here is a shot of my booth, well almost all of it. They were so good to me and gave me an end booth to fit the trailer.
It was fun to dress up the front of the trailer, I don't always get to do that. All the pink & aqua were gorgeous!
My photo of the front vignette, before a few of the fun treasures were gone. I have to give a big thank you to Shelly of Rust & Roses for coming to help me put a few things together. I didn't get to take many pics because once the door opened it was ON! SO many people and friends coming by. No time for photos, just the joy of the day. My favorite part. You can se lots of photos on the Junk in the Trunk website and get details on the next one in September. Not so far away! See you then!
Our next Warehouse Market is this coming weekend, May 30th & 31st. The Bliss Lounge will be inside the warehouse and opened up for you to check out. Paris Montana won't be with us this time, she is off on an adventure in Montana! Go figure. :)
I've got lots of new finds, new jewelry, and new vintage trailer t shirts!
I've got a couple of these super cool vintage looking flag scarves available too. They are perfect for the upcoming 4th of July holiday and decorating.
One more new vintage trailer design.
And this Market's Guest Vendor is cutie pie Amanda of Off the Dirt Road! She always has super cool rusty goods and fun vintage finds. She has great connections for vintage treasure, can't wait to see what she brings!
I'll post some more peeks this week, but also Follow me on Instagram @vintageblissaz
SO, I've been a very bad blogger lately. There has really been a LOT going on. So this is a "try to catch you up post" if you don't follow me on Facebook or Instagram, Those two places lately are the best places to see what's going on in the Vintage Bliss world, it's a little quicker for me.
April was crazy, I went to Nashville for the Flea Market and the Franklin Main Street Festival. But first I got to be a tourist for a day and visit the American Pickers store Anitque Archaeology in the old Marathon building. Great old building that has been restored. I serioulsy LOVE old brick buildings.
Great sign in front...
i fell in love with this sign, the photo does it no justice
another amazing old sign....
It's more of a museum of all the cool things they've found with some high price tags. But still cool to go to.
Remember that episode??
This candy store was next door, killer sign.
Then it was off to Franklin, TN. One of the prettiest towns I've ever been to. So quaint and well kept. They really do alot to promote it and portect it. This store was gorgeous. Haven. Great clothes, upscale but with vintage displays everywhere.
This was outside of the church in town. Lovely. and Peaceful.
Here it is! Our next Warehouse Market is gonna be a good one!! Next weekend April 18-19th from 9-4! I've got some great finds from my recent trip to Roundtop, Tx. I brought back some goods from the Junk Gypsies! and some Miranda Lambert Wine for you to sip on. Awesome creations from several other vendors that are a Texas fav!
New rusty metal signs and arrows for your home!
New Motel Key FOBS-Vintage Bliss style :)
I nabbed a few of these rusty olive buckets that everyone is clamoring for as well. Get yours before they are gone!
Chippy old doors are always a fav as well...
Andddddd a picked up a few Junk Gypsy t shirts for you all as well who don't get to go to Antiques week. There are limited quantities so get here early!
great silk screen panels and tees from another one of my favorite vendors with oh so much style!
This Nashville Tattoo sign is absolutely the coolest sign I've ever nabbed. It will be at the Market as well.....
It's going to be a ton of fun and I'm working on a few more surprises too! Stay tuned!!!
It's here already again, our next Warehouse Market. We've got a couple of friends with us again. The trio of Rusty Saturday brought by some of their amazing creations...rusty wings, colorful signs, and fun chalkboards. We also have treasures from Jack and Cat Curio. A talented team with a knack for finding the coolest junk! And as always,my partner in crime(or at least the fun kind) Paris Montana. Who has told me she is bringing some killer swag! You'll just have to come by and see it all. Look for my pink/white trailer parked by the street, it kind of points you in the direction of the warehouse.
Here are a few shots from our last Market which was sooooo fun and filled with great stuff!
In managed to steal a few extras jars of LA Farm Girl jam when I was in Cali last weekend. Lucky you!
Some of our sweet customers that came by.
Paris Montana serving up some fashion!
